MARC A. SUSSWEIN joined Liddle & Robinson in 1995 after working as an attorney at a private firm in the District of Columbia for two years. Mr. Susswein graduated from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in 1986 and obtained his J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1992, where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor on the Georgetown University and American Bar Association journal The Tax Lawyer. He became a Partner of the law firm in January 2000. As a New York employment law attorney, Mr. Susswein has worked on numerous employment cases, both in arbitration and in court, involving a full range of employment issues including non-competition agreements; compensation disputes and related claims; disputes involving employment and separation agreements; and disputes involving discrimination and defamation claims. One matter on behalf of one of Mr. Susswein’s recent clients in the securities industry involved the successful resolution of significant claims of unpaid bonus compensation and defamation. Mr. Susswein also frequently advises clients on employment issues and negotiates contracts and exit packages on behalf of clients’.
